This year marks the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Germany. The 2022 Sino-German Economic Cooperation Forum and Sino-German (Changzhou) Innovation Industrial Park Promotion Conference was held via video link between Frankfurt, Germany and Jintan, Changzhou on October 20.

This event is also the largest Sino-German offline business exchange event held by China in Germany so far this year.

Mr. Zhu Weige, Economic and Commercial Consul, Consulate General of the People's Republic of China in Frankfurt, Mr. Peng Li, Deputy Director of Changzhou Municipal Bureau of Commerce, Mr. Xu Yawe, Mr. Yang Jian and Mr. Zhu Tianming, leaders of Jintan District of Changzhou City, and about 150 government figures, businesspeople and scholars from Germany, Austria and Switzerland, shared friendship, discussed and sought for development through a combination of online and offline methods.

According to Mr. Zhu Fenkou, representative of Jintan's delegation to Frankfurt and director of China (Changzhou) Innovation Industrial Park Management Office, the main venue in Frankfurt was full of friends and many representatives of German-speaking enterprises had been looking forward to this promotion meeting for a long time and had in-depth contacts and exchanges with Jintan.

The Jintan venue in Changzhou also gathered government figures and high-level business officials. As a key German-funded enterprise in Jintan Changzhou Economic Development Zone, Mr. Zhang Shihai, general manager of the subsidiary of Venti Oelde in China, was also invited to participate in the on-site exchange activities.

The participants were enthusiastic and exchanged. The whole event lasted 7 hours.
