Jintan leaders met with Venti Group management

On the morning of 11th January, Ms. Verena Cordes, shareholder and representative of the Board of Directors of Venti Group, and her delegation were received by Mr. Xu Yawei, Deputy Secretary of the Jintan District Committee and Mayor of Jintan District, accompanied by Dr. Nabil Abou Lebdi, CEO of Venti Group, and Mr. Zhang Shihai, General Manager of Venti China, at the German Centre of Changzhou. Wang Yong, Deputy Mayor of Jintan District, attended the event.

Mr. Xu Yawei expressed his warm welcome to the visit of Ms. Verena Cordes and her delegation. He said, on 10th January, Venti Oelde (Jiangsu) Air Handling Equipment Co., Ltd held the opening ceremony, and Venti Group from Germany has started a new development in China. In recent years, Jintan has always maintained the pattern of opening up to the outside world and made good achievements in the cooperation with Germany. At present, the Sino-German (Changzhou) Innovation Industrial Park (SGIP) has introduced a total of 57 German-speaking enterprises, selected as one of the first batch of "International Cooperation Parks in Jiangsu Province". And SGIP is the first Sino German energy efficiency cooperation urban energy-saving demonstration park in China. Jintan has always focused on serving enterprises and creating a high-quality, caring and efficient business environment.

Ms. Verena Cordes expressed her gratitude to Jintan for its support and service. She said that Jintan has provided great help to Venti Oelde from the signing of the project to the opening, and she was impressed by the efficient service.

As a Chinese proverb perfectly puts it: “When two brothers are of the same mind their sharpness can cut through metal”. Venti Oelde has experienced this here in Jintan with its esteemed partners from SGIP. The support of Jintan government has been essential for Venti Group in making the vision of moving to China reality. True to its role as a community-centred, responsible and reliable partner, Venti Oelde stands ready to contribute and grow with Jintan.

Venti Oelde (Jiangsu) Air Handling Equipment Co., Ltd. is Venti Group's first production base outside of its European headquarter. In June 2022, Venti Oelde settled in the Sino-German (Changzhou) Innovation Industrial Park, and is a key foreign-funded enterprise in the park, mainly producing energy-saving and environmentally friendly products, such as industrial fans, dust removal and process gas cleaning equipment, and exhaust gas handling equipment. On 10 th January, as Venti Group's subsidiary, Venti Oelde China held the opening ceremony and Jintan plant was officially put into production.

Ms. Verena Cordes said that as a family business, they have a history of almost 100 years. She is very confident to complete the planning of the first plant outside Germany. She hopes to grow together and promote the concept of energy-saving and green development in Venti’s area of expertise to companies around Jintan.
